PEC which is abbreviation of Punjab Examination Commission is autonomous body of elementary education system working within the region Punjab. Currently PEC is working in all 36 districts of Punjab with aim to create educational atmosphere in all over the region to develope the atmosphere in the region so that more candidates turns to get education which is no doubt very important to improve the economy and for the sake of Pakistan Progress.

Punjab Board which is Punjab Examination Commission board is responsible to held the examinations on time and also responsible to announce the result within the given time. It is one of the major step taken by Government of Punjab which is no doubt effect directly to produce more engineers, Scholars, Doctors, Businessman and also scientist in future.

This year the number of students which appeared in these examination was not in hundreds of thousands it increase into millions which is a good sign. Government is taking decisions to give low rate education with free book at these level of classes. For appearing in these examinations students have to pay no fee only registration required with PEC.

PEC is self dependent body created by Government of Punjab which is statutory body working under Punjab Examination Commission Act XI of 2010 for improving examination system of elementary education.PEC grade VIII and V examination is mandatory as per government policy for all public and private school functioning within the region Punjab.
